Certificate Policy

How confined-space.com's certificates of completion are issued, what they document, and how to get one verified.

Issuance

Upon successful completion of a confined space course, including any required knowledge check, a certificate of completion is issued through HAZWOPER OSHA Training, LLC, the provider that delivers confined-space.com's courses. Certificates are typically available immediately after course completion.

What the Certificate Documents

The certificate documents that the named student completed the course content for a specific confined space course, aligned with the applicable OSHA standard(s) referenced on the certificate. It does not mean OSHA has certified the student, endorsed the course, or issued a license. See our full Credential Transparency page for more detail.

Validity Period

Certificates are valid for 36 months, after which a refresher course is recommended. OSHA itself does not set one universal renewal interval; retraining is also required any time job duties change, a new hazard is introduced, or performance shows training wasn't effective.

Course Access Window

Enrolled students have a 3-month completion timeline from enrollment, with 1-year access to training materials for reference.

Retakes

If a knowledge check isn't passed on the first attempt, a retake is available. Contact us if you need help accessing a retake.

Verification

Employers, contractors, project owners, and compliance teams may verify a certificate directly through HAZWOPER OSHA Training's certificate verification tool.

Lost or Reissued Certificates

If you've lost access to a certificate, contact us at info@hazwoper-osha.com or 1-866-429-6742 with the student name, course, and approximate completion date, and we'll help locate or reissue it.
